Read MoreWhat can I do once I'm a private pilot?
Fly... the sky is the limit. The restrictions on private pilots are few. They basically only limit the types of aircraft you can fly.

We can give you a general range, but individual skills and abilities determine the amount of time to achieve proficiency.
Read MoreAre there any medical requirements?
Yes! You need a medical certificate before flying solo. We suggest you get your medical certificate before beginning flight training. This will alert you to any condition that would prevent you from becoming a pilot before you begin flight training.
You will need at least a third-class medical certificate, although any class will suffice. Medical certificates are designated as first-class, second-class, or third-class. Generally, first-class is designed for the airline transport pilot; second-class for the commercial pilot; and third-class for the student, and private pilot.
